3301 days ago 2 categories Wagged Work & left home with a solid 20kns & a forcast of a bit more, Tide was good Arrived at Stansbury to 5knts
Waited for hoppy to arrive as JAson was out crusing, Rigged the 6.3 Loft on the Isonic 85 &plugged in the Lessacher 28 weedie. Well we were ready & no wind headded out on the promised forcast. Spent 30m just moving with allways the just a bit more & I can plane feeling. I looked over at hoppy & he caught a huge gust & proberly craced 20knts for 50 m That would be right I will float around crack a masive 5knts & Hoppy will post 20! Thankfully the wind just built so some nice planing runs were had. Alass time was running out so Jason & I called it quits & headded home. Was fantastic to get out on the water , left hoppy headding back out to make the most of what wind was still about.

3301 days ago 2 categories It has been quiet here on Yorkes but today there was a good forecast. Rigged the 6.6 GPS with the SXs 90 and tried the R type 32. Trickys lad Jason had a 37.5 knot in no time, and in 10-12 knots of wind. Its unbelievable how fast a kite raceboard goes in next to no wind. Meanwhile, back in windsurfing world, me and my old buddy Tricky were floundering and moving forward, waiting for the forecast to arrive. Over half an hour later the wind picked up to a solid 12 and away i went. Not long after the lads had to get back to Harvest and work but i stayed out and found some 15. Thought a good hour was on the cards but 15mins in she died out again and i called it quits. The back is slowly improving and soon after harvest we will make an effort for the team. So happy sailing guys

I had to escape from a jack hammer and a crowbar for an afternoon. Unfortunately those weapons had taken their toll on my arms. But pretty nice conditions and I couldn't let Marty sail it by himself. Would have been really good for a blast in Waterloo Bay.
