I drove from Espernce to Albany this morning and had a short sail this arvo in Princess Royal Harbour. Cant remeber when I have travelled so far for a sail in the moring! 480km and 5 hr drive! Geeze, this a one really big country!

As noted before, this is a sensational place for flat water, but I probably would benefit from a more than 40 degree raked fin. I used my Vector weed 40 degree today and it worked fine once I got going. I think I was only stopped twice when I went into the really shallow, thick stuff. The rest of the time it wa fine.

Only 14-19 knots on the shore as I rigged and seemed to drop slightly when I was out. I couln't get high enough to get a straight NM but had a lot of fun trying.

Hoping the wind is stronger tomorrow so I can use smaller gear.
