Finished before I even started...

Cut my toe on my brand new Vector Speed weed fin (quite badly) before even sailing a metre. Did a few runs before I looked and realised the severity of the injury... Thanks to Stropp for the offer of assistance - tape to keep sailing (I was tempted). A BIG thanks to Elmo (or is that Dr Elmo...). First aid kit to the rescue. He de-rigged my gear (he insisted!) and cleaned the wound and bandadged me up ready for emergency. I owe you at least one big fella. Another BIG thanks to the Peel Campus' Emergency Department. They were great - I was fixed up (only three stitches in the end) and on my way in less than an hour! Thanks to Dr Kennedy and the nurses!

See you all in about two weeks!

P.S. I was shocked to see I managed a nautical mile PB! Go figure!
