hoppybogan (26139km): Stansbury, SA, AU 15 knots + SXs90, GPS 6, 28 Choco weedy Nice after work sail with Tricky at the local. Settled in for the hour but was not properly powered up. FF102 and 6.6 might have been a better option. A few 20 knot gusts though and if you were lucky to get one on the flat it was good. Tricky was sailing well, as usual and chased him for the whole hour but could not catch him. Thought the F2 90 was dead but some major surgery has brought it back to life and today it wasn't too shabby.
Tricky Bogan (21904km): Nice cruze Isonic87, Loft 6.3 28 CWSSW, nice combo never realy lit up but a nice sail!, the HR was hard work keeping it all together as it was a bit marginal at times! Tide was up so no real smooth water & the later part it was getting a bit bumpy heading out but some nice water on the inside we made the most of, Had a great day playing chasey with Hopppy. to top it of Hoppy had a nice cold frothie in the van, Legend
Sammy (43276km): Quick after work little sesh. Sailed on my own today. Actually had a lot of fun. Wind was 13 to 18 then picked up to 15 to 20 later. About the only good part of sailing on your own is you have no one to talk to so you just keep on sailing. Very happy with my sailing today as i fell in only twice and had a ball. Never really powered on the 6.2 but was great gybing the smaller sail. The wind seemed to pick up even more when i came in but i was too tired to keep going. One of the best after work sails i have had :-). |
