Tibor (18244km): Canton Beach, NSW, AU Pleasant afternoon again at old Canton. The wind came in better just as Bruce and l left. The enthusiasts Mick John maybe Sue went over to BuffP.
Bruce Healey (24403km): Canton Beach, NSW, AU Not a bad arvo except I was sick & almost bailed out. glad I came as it was OK & then picked up to quite strong. The young whippersnappers were moving over to Buffo for a second go as it was so good at the end.Heaps out, Tibor, Mick, Johnnie, Pete, Greg & some mystery types. CASL62, 6.6, 28 weedie
Andrew Haigh (50695km): Coal Point, NSW, AU CA70 and 7.6m Just a quick sail late in the day. Looked patchy most of the day, Tony came down and was looking good on his 6.6m, the minute I hit the water the wind picked up (That doesn't happen very often), I was hanging on with the 7.6 and with the mast track well back, things were getting a little scary. When Johnny went for a 100 litre board last year, I was not convinced it was the way to go, but I am now starting to see the sense in it. There are many days like today when the 110 is feeling real big, but the risk of getting stuck out in the middle late in the day on a 90 litre are too high. I plan to move towards a 4 board system Speed board (60 litres), Falcon 79, 100 litre and 120 litre. anyone got a 100 L late model slalom board for sale?

Lyds (10267km): Belmont Bay (Slipways), NSW, AU Exocet RS4, Maui 7.7 (overpowered) 40 cm C3 Sting. Thought I would give a new place a try and it was pretty damm good, very long runs but very choppy. I could see Andrew up at Coal Point i think that would have been a better option, however, very happy to have had some nice consistant wind.
Greg Kiskarpati (20842km): Canton Beach, NSW, AU Ka Race 7.9 , RS4 , JP 38 weedy first session Ka Race 7.1 , JP 59 and 18 delta Great session in the slop at canton , great fun flying around with everyone , then Mick Milsy and i decided to hit buff , great doing laps there as well

sboardcrazy (25351km): 15-24kts SSW Canton Beach, NSW, AU- 7m OD + 89ltre falcon + Tibors 26cm weedspeed fin then 79ltre falcon + 31cm weedie Murphys law that when you break something it will be the just the thing you need..My 6.4m is stuffed at the moment. Got there and not enough for the 6m ( bit patchy) but looked like the 7m would be a handful. Actually wasn't too bad at first. Today was nm day. Tibors fin is smaller but has a much thicker foil than the other weedie I used.Great reaching / off the wind- nice to have a fin I trusted for once! Still spun out a lot going upwind and didn't trust it.Still feel i needa 35cm as they recommend. Got Milsy to have a go to see what he thought - he spun out but the wind was patchy and it seems it's pilot error... So definitely an improvement with a better fin although the chop was only up to about 1' not 2 - 3' like Coal can get. B scary nms's today..Would have loved a photo of the look on my face- seat of the pants . A few times I caught myself thinking of going over the handlebars in a gust and immediately stopped the thought..Didn't do a lot of gybes as overpowered . I can get upwind well if I'm really overpowered. Got the 30+ in the nm ..did a bearaway later on and felt like 35kts + flying over the back of 1' chops but only 29kts.. Finally took the 79ltre out and so much easier - just floated over the chop and no control issues or as scary as the 89ltre. Couple of kites , Milsy , Mick , Pete , Bruce , Tibor , Bill Paul + others. Wind really kicked in at the end - dicey with the 7m. Everyone else took off to Buff Pt but too late for me + worn out from haning onto the 7m. Thanks for the loan of the fin Tibor. I'll get it back to you next time I see you.Wouldn't have been game to go for it as much if I didn't trust the fin. I think that nm is my 2nd best and considering the size of the chop I'm pretty proud of myself.
