Mega windy , used the 5.8m koncept and 71 speed board all i did was go sideways in the chop , no flat water to be found , except for big balls Adam just locked it in and went for it till he snapped his boom , commimnent for sure , Stu also had a big get off and off the the hospital to get some stickers , split his shin open 4 inches , gotta hurt tomorrow
Tide was high and no weed so wind chop just running down the lake

Sailed with Mark.J and Stuart. Typical gusty westerly. Bumpy water on the high tide,....way too bumpy to let the gear run. I reckon it would have been a 40kn day if the tide was low as the wind at times was insane. Only did 3 or 4 runs, and on the last run hit a massive weed clump and went from 30kn+ to zero, BIG catapault, broke boomhead and two battens. Luckily had some spare rope, lashed the boom to the mast and sailed home. Water was dirty so couldnt see the weed clumps until you were on them.
Some big stacks today, Stuart had some crackers and even opened his shin up after he got spat - off to the hospital for stitches. Mark was runing the gauntlet through the mangroves in search of some flat water - luckily didnt hit any stray logs, crabpots or branches - I was nervous for him. No flat water in the mangroves either.
Second sail in 10 months. Loved being on the water. Loving the new CA87. 19cm Delta was terrible on the bumpy water, always sideways, switched to the Vector Speed Weed and was much better.

Tried to get out before it got too windy. Chris and Pete joined me but they weren't having much fun either. The tide was not in our favour, so no flat water to be found. Got maxed out after about half an hour with gusts getting stronger by the minute. It went from 15-25k then up to 30+k pretty quickly from the W-WSW. 90,11.5,6.2
