A day that didn't really happen - the best wind was early but high tide meant a lot of chop on the bearaways. When the water got shallower the wind became very patchy. Fun to be out with the gang though.
The 5m sail goes surprisingly well (in the gusts) but in reality no sail was the right size today.

Didn't really happen like the forecast. Strong and gusty and sometimes virtually no wind at all. Don't know why I stayed with the speed board after lunch, but it was still fun.

TEST DAY! Tuning and working things out on the new board and new sail, YES CAM'S ARE THE GO, bring on the OD R8.. I cant complain, once I got the rig right it felt sweet alot of learning to do riding a speed board. But the wind had gone and it was best to be on much bigger grear, really on/off today.

Headed out as most of the crew was packing up due to lack of wind and got to spend some quality time standing around, admiring the scenery and colourful sunset. Great to catch up with everyone again and nice first post Gerry. Keen to see how the forecast develops for next Friday and Saturday.
