Darryl (25155km): Pointe d'Esny, MU, RRD 129, R5 9.5, Carp 48, Great last day sail to finish the trip off. :) | ||||||||||||||||||
Nelson d Foiler (31390km): Zilwa Mauritius RRD Firestorm 101L with 7.0M T-bird Free sailing at the hotel as we couldn't make the road trip to Pte D'Esny as we were staying on and not heading to the airport. First day really powered up but the chop was bad out towards the reef & there is a big wind shadow in close where the flat water is.

Annie (13417km): 6.5 T4 & 94lt Cross Zilwa Attitude - Mauritius It felt windy today & I was all excited & ready for a great time Waded out into deeper water to avoid the rocks & took off, oh this is going to be a great day!! Not long after that thought, somehow I got all tangled up in the footstrap & when I looked down one of my toes was at right angles to the rest. After a short float in the water I decided I had to get back to shore regardless. I sailed back in & inspected the damage & somehow found the courage to pull my toe back to straight. I hobbled back to shore & that's where I stayed for the rest of our holiday Relaxing & warm holiday, great food & super event by Mauritius Freeride Challenge organisers & Zilwa Attitude. Thank you all.
