Haven't sailed for months. Great to get back on the water. Forgot just how much fun & hard work it can be.

Sailed at wello for 1hr with a top speed of 38 then to the creek. Sat on 38's at the creek for an hour till finally the wind kicked a bit harder for 15 mins or so. Long enough to get my best runs of the day.

Great fun and great to see so many out enjoying spring.

well done to paul and danny on the pbs and brad did great as always. I think that 32.8 nm might be a record for the bay ?

I wish I had taken the day off and went to Brisbane. Instead I worked and took a late run down to Yamba, NSW, AU. Just over an hour in the water, no body else there, I sailed till after sunset. It looked windy so I rigged the 7.0. I couldn't even get going, so I quickly rigged up to the 7.8. Wind was pretty steady for in the river. Few jelly fish in there and I had one close encounter with a dolphin. I also spotted a barnacle encrusted bombie in the river that I had never seen before. This thing is seriously dangerous!! It was exposed, maybe 300 mm out of the water at low tide. Its probably a known thing but I have put a placemark on the track picture just for approximate reference. Its about 80 to 100m south of the gap in the wall. Inline with the east side of the gap.
