Jetlag (10674km): Naish SP95, Loft RB 6.3, Unifiber FWD Anti-Weed 26 (Thanks Stu !!) 30-40kt Westerly @ Primbee, NSW, AU Heavy duty westerly with quite a lot of water so very choppy. Overpowered towards the end with the 6.3 but once hooked in to a bear-away I was OK. First time using this fin and it was a big improvement on my BP Weed Speed 40 degree in terms of catching weed. I didnt have to stop once today to remove weed. Cheered when I spotted a 39.5 on the dial, but it was only a peak. Can't wait to have this sort of breeze on some flat water !! Good to see all the crews from all points of the compass. Some impressive bearaways and commitment considering the conditions.

Windsurfunstu (6659km): Primbee, NSW, AU More sail changes than a super maxi in the Sydney to Hobart and more crashes than the Bathurst 1000! Couldn't find my mojo in the trailer today but after missing August all together it beats the hell out of working Big Big congrats on the PB's guys!!! that was challanging to say the least Great to catch up with everyone. Lets hope it wont be long till the next session. JP Slalom 65 101L - BP 24/50, Mistral Speed 95 - MT 21 custom, SV R6 6.2 5.6 R4 5.1
philip watts (2899km): Primbee, NSW, AU big turnup bit too windy at first had to wait untill wind calmed down and water smoothed of a bit boards used isonic mistral and monster with 5.6m severne sail
bushfire (26346km): Primbee, NSW, AU Westerly, up to 41 knots. A fun day with heaps of sailors out. Fairly ballistic for a couple hours over midday, a bit too much for me, given the choppy water. I started off on the Gator - new sail for the freeride kit, so I wanted to see what it was like. It was a bit of a disaster with too much wind and too much fin, so no conclusion on the sail. I rigged the reflex and changed to the MxR and felt much better. After a long lunch the wind had dropped a bit so was back out. A better session with the wind average down a bit but some good gusts. The final session was probaly the best fun with the water calming a bit and the wind a bit more friendly. Really happy to catch a couple of 40 knot squirts on the combo in the choppy water - it's been a couple of years since I've hit the 40! Great to catch up with Barry Franks from the Tassy Speed team. Good to see Mike back on the water. SB iS80, SV Gator 6.5m, SV R7 5.6m, BP WS 24/50, MxR UFO WS 24/50 OH
Eckers (12311km): Primbee, late afternoon session, so much so that the front row of the carpark had already been vacated. North RAM 6.3, Fanatic Falcon 80 with Black Project Weed Speed 25 to start with, then Falcon 104 with Gun Weed Control 29. Big crash at the start - head butted the lake bed...the lake bed won.... Great to be on the water with an early father's day sail. Westerly, 24 knots declining to 18 knots average during the afternoon. Gusts of 35 knots at first declining to 29 knots later.
Mike (3343km): Afternoon shift. Great to get out I80 and 5.4 atlas
