2958 days ago What an excellent day! So good to see and sail with everyone. You guys really have so many interesting places to sail in Brissie. Being able to sail from one place to another with so many different and changing conditions is great. Launched from Wellington Point, QLD, AU. Brad suggested going down to Lota but I had to go in for a drink first. I have to say that run down to Lota with John felt like one of the craziest things I have ever done. Initially I backed out and started pointing as it felt too crazy, but I looked down wind and saw John going for it so I gave it a go. My first 30+nm and it was going straight into the low sun. This was my second sail on the 90 and so far I'm loving it. Great to see others going close to and over 40 knots today(a first for me to witness). Inspirational! John, Vando and myself made it back to Wello just before the storm hit.
