Speed Creek, Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ, Speed creek is ... short but speedy. Kia ora! Still alive just very limited internet. Quick burst on new gear. Manta 61, Ka 7.1, DDW 34. Crazy gusty but some great runs with the locals. Great angle for gybes although i was on a sinker so only did 2. soooo unfit now so have to work on that

Great U turn Curt. Another sailor posted a video of the creek last week. With a short run and gusty wind, you'd feel right at home. Do you live nearby?

Cheers guys I'll post some vids in the weekend when I get the Internet up and going. Great spot but it requires quite specific conditions to sail. Mostly it's tide dependant and quite short chop sailing conditions here. Similar to weyba but a strong tide. hey Pete these mantas are great for chop and are easy to gybe. I've got a 71 wide 116 litre and a 61 wide 98 litre so far I like them.
