A great day out on the Bay. Some good bullets coming through and it was reasonably flat. Had a ball chasing Mike and Troy around for a while. Reach, bearaway, gybe, upwind, gybe and do it all again! Good to see you out on your new RRD too Dave.

Plenty out, Luke, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Jabba the Hutt, Bobafett, Biggs Darklighter, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obe one and a nice cameo from Nikki from Tinder, she's hot Wink

Great day out with Dave, Andrew, Troy and many others. Water traffic was much better than Monday. Awesome fun bearaways coming back into the beach Smile

Last sail for the year.

GOOD.

2016 can f$#k right off. Roll on 2017 and new beginnings.

RRD V7 105, Koncept 5.8, BP R Type 37.5

Even on my 5.8 I felt over powered today but did manage to hold on. I am starting to get my sailing legs back and feeling more and more  comfotable pushing the RRD accross the wind over the chop at speed. No bearaways attempted at the runway today and my gybes are still very nervous stalling most of them.

No sign of Abdul, Hazim, Mustafa and Habibi today, but did enjoy sailing with Mike Andrew and Troy and some new faces Froddo, Legolas Gandalf Aragorn and Gollum.

Perfect day to purge whats been a shitty year for a lot of us, some way more than othersCool

Gusty but great fun arvo at Budgey, good to catch up with everybody. Went out early with Froth & Pugs and got a few good pushes down the run. Then the world turned up but a lot more civilised today. Missed a few of the last days so I really enjoyed that.

Tried hard for a 23 Alpha today, looks like I was a bees dick off. Who cares, I just love windsurfing. Sunny, warm and windy, woo hoo!!!

Fingal Bay   NE 20 - 30 knots

Fanatic Falcon TE 114    North Warp F2017 7.7    Tectonics Phoenix 38

Should have used the 7.0 as the gusts coming around the headland on the the right hand side of the spit were 30+.

Some great bear aways along the spit dodging 5 tea bags. Nice flat water with a small swell.

The new Tectonics Phoenix was fast and slippery in these conditions.

Nice PB Grant.

When you come up next, just pack your 99 Falcon and 7.0 Pryde. It's all you ever use, and it works!

Larko from what I have read there is no official definition of a bees dick PB, but yours today is more than 0.1 so no danger of it being deemed a BDPB :)

congrats thats a fast turn! And very fast 2 sec as well!!

Congrats Larko.

I had chat with Wayne over at the top beach while we were catching our breath. Then he told me he launched from Kurnel. WTF? It was cranking by then. He took off on a broad reach, got about 500m down the run (me behind) and took a massive slamming. OUCH. Man, keen to hear how the rest of the run back to Kurnel went hehehe. Crazy man.

Well done Mike. Look quick out there today.

I'm loving the look of those RRDs guys. Dave, that BP type R 37.5 might be a bit big for a 100ltr. I used one of those on my 115. A smaller fin might've helped a bit today.

Awesome day out. Catch you all next year.

Well guys looks like I'm the weak link when I got to kurnell yesterday i realized my GPS was still at home FARK !!!!

Anyway decided to sail over to Kyeemagh the noreaster had a bit more north in it so it took 4 tacks to get there had a couple of runs & a chat with nigel & remi  then headed back 500 m down the runway spinout and over the front i go same thing at the end of the runway after that it was 4 foot wind swell a lot easier to sail in headed to the oil wharf gybe and back to where I started from , a great afternoon sailing.

Congrats on the PB Larko will get up there with you one day.

Happy New Year to all hope we get more wind & more time to enjoy it.
