Wind was to much for 7m and board so Peter loaned me the atom 100 for an after lunch session. Got to windy for 7 m so i came in. nice day with Danny , Peter , Brad and Russell.

Late decision to go for a road trip had me at the lake by 11am. Set off for a 1 hour attempt only to have a big rain sqaul come through at the 25min mark then the wind vanished so sat on my board becalmed in middle of lake for 20mins.
Finally wind came back so started another 1hr atempt. Was sailing a perfect hour unitl the 42 min mark when a harness line broke.
3rd attempt at the hour now and the wind was cranking at times with some really sharp chop. Not a perfect hour but just happy to complete. After that wind backed right off so day was done.

3003 days ago Big day at the lake today. Started on the 99 with 7.0 bullet and was overpowered for the first hr. Had a break and went back out but it was just getting stonger.
Changed down to the 6.0 redline and borrowed a 29 freewave fin from Peter was ok for a bit then it just came in again and was overpowered on the 6.
Had a great sail though with Ian, Peter, Brad and Russell,

awesome session at 1770 in the creek and bar, its gusty due to the wind having to flow over the headland and into the creek, lots of 1okt bits followed by 25kt bullets. outside on the surf bar was too windy, and just inside the bar was too messy becasue the sand bar has a big hole in it where the creek now flows in and out. up the creek was best, flat but had to keep an eye out for the odd dead tree in the water.
