Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU

7.0 Evo7, 66cm wide Kenny, 56cm wide Chester, 35cm slalom fin, 25cm weedy.

A good session, the NE'r didn't come in as expected and the 7.0 ended up being a good sail for the whole day.

I spent some of the session out in the middle south of palm beach getting used to my new board and then the rest up at the ramp.

It was great to see so many sails out the water too.

Fox n Foil today!

Started on the board but apart from the first 15 minutes the wind was very patchy making it hard to get a good run across the lake. I worked my way up to Gooseberry hoping to get a good broad reach but the wind didn't play the game, so partly drifted and pumped back to base. I switched over to the foil but I found it was a little too windy for my skill level (the wind had definitely picked up!). It was fun but I was sailing well and truly sheeted out coming back downwind, struggling to keep balanced in the gusty/shifty wind. Quite a bit easier sailing upwind.

Good to see Mark, Nick & Ian sailing from Kanahooka.

Scott: Fanatic Megacat 380, Loft 5.2m Pure lip sail. Getting addicted to windsurfing.

Managed to get a few runs to the middle but not much further, definitely more wind in the channel on the primbee side. But good to get out there on the last day of the holidays. 

Another glorious day at Sanctuary Point.  Arms and hands not used to the indulgence of two days in a row!
