Got there after 3 and was on my own. Rigged the 5.8, F2 sxs90, choco weedy combo. Had to walk around to the groyne to get the wind out. I snapped a harness line last time out and was using a shorter 30 inch on Starboard. Was ok fun and some stronger gusts were inviting me to follow Carls example and bearaway onto the choppy abyss. which i did. I was trying to better the 32.7 and caught a rail or two and with the shorter harness line got myself into a pickle and did a endo. Doing about 32 knots, as i was waiting for the crunch i was thinking of the movie " Talladega nights", don't take me yet Baby Jesus". Hit hard but was good. Nothing broken, so up on Port tack and away!. Next gybe came around onto Starboard and put my front foot into nothing, as the foot strap was busted in two. I can't ever remember breaking a foot strap before. I had to call it a day, just when i was having good fun. I don't carry a spare foot strap, but will from now on.
The wind was sh#t all week at Stansbury and was bad for Carl who stayed there with his kids. Next time Carl, with wind

2900 days ago was quite a nice day at Boggy Lake, SA, AU, went out with the 6.7 Gastra Vapour, and 90 Isonic with the BP 34, felt the worst that sail has felt, underpowered most of the time and overpowered in strange gusts. anyway had a nice time out there with Mike Sam and Carl, then Dazza turned up a tad late. finding it hard to get the strong wind on the flat water up the top....im sure i will get it one day....

Woke up after 4 days at Stansbury and left the hotel and went for a look at the launch. The water and weather looked uninviting. Hoppy was working till 3pm and Tricky wasnt sure. Having the kids with me meant a 5 hour wait. So decided to head home. Sam was heading to boggy in the arvo so talked the girls into heading to boggy. Glad we did was a great arvo cruising with Sam. Looked real strong before getting on the water but could have done with some more wind in the gusts up the top of the lake on the speed run. '
Used the Black Project speed weed for the 1st time at Boggy and worked great.
