Jack Bogan (3894km): ![]() Boggy Lake, SA, AU Started on the 6.3 KARace and 106 Exocet Scross. Got over over to the flat area and had a few nice runs. Came in for a bite to eat and decided to give the Patrik 92 a go. Was a bit and down and couldn't get any real speed. Feeling a bit crook the last couple of days so after chucking up my lunch out on the water called it a day.

Trousers (14352km): ![]() Le'bog. Geoff and I arrived waterside about nine, and rigged up as it built to a brisk 18-ish kts, but it was lump-city and frequent holey. In a shocking twist I chose the 6.2OD/BPR325/i97. Went out and before long others started to roll in. The conditions were all over the place on the day, could have carried my 7.0m but laziness won out and I just ploughed on with my 6.2m. There was a big turnout by the pm; ChrisD/Leon/Jacko/Mike/the two Jonnies/Andreas/PJ were the sailors I knew, plus plenty I didn't. Distance pb is a surprising accident, just a lucky by-product of a good day out. |
