South West Rocks, NSW, AU

Good turnout today at the new river location near Jerseyville. Six sailing, 4 locals & 2 guys visiting from Newcastle.

Barry gave us a wind reading with his meter, 20 knots gusting to 25.

We all rigged 5 / 5.5 and were mostly overpowered with Mitch taking a BIG stack and breaking his carbon boom.

Phil did a photo shoot, here is some of the action.

Coomba Park, NSW, AU

Had a nice session on my own and managed to get gear selection right this time. Building NE-NNE 15-20  with gusts up to 25k. The better runs toward the end. Terrorised a few swans trying to get out of my way during the session, and a good view of the laser regatta on Wallis with over 100 boats out was pretty impressive. 93,10.5,6.2.

Killer sesh Gabe!

As for Jersy, tide effect is minimal. Strangly flatter (in spots) on the run out tide. Just a good blasting spot with a few ramps and nice ends to gybe.

Here's some more pics.  Cheers mate.

Thanks fellas. Pity work gets in your way Mark. There may not be many more of these noreasters left now.

Phil it's good you have a new flatishwater spot to sail in when you get sick of sailing pristine SWR.😊

Great session Gabe. Nice to meet you, Chris, Andre and Pete on Friday. I will have to come back up and have a sail, you certainly have a nice spot with lots of warm water.
