Wasn't much of a. Forecast but a good temp difference. Had to go to a funeral in the morning so got there early arvo. Rigged the 6.0 Severne NCX on the 112 JP Slalom. First time on this board up by the weed had some pretty good downwind runs along the bank on the far side and then coming back. Had to leave early again, social life getting in the way of sailing lately !! Only a few down today, Fisky mad an appearance after several years, Chris Bennett, Sam, Stotty and two others, not the usual regulars. Was worth the trip

Got there pretty late and rigged quick to join in the fun with Tricky and Chris. There was a guy on a kite out the back who stayed out of our way, good on him. Very enjoyable sail with the guys, and after with a couple of drinks as we stood around checking out Hoppys new windsurfing rocket!Wink Richard supplied the beer. Hope we can sail again with our Canadian friend before he heads back to work in a week or so.Cool

Ditched work & damm it Just went for a Sail Smile But how to turn a cracker sail into a grindCryEmbarassed Rigged toooo SMALL looked like it was cranking on the drive down & the tide was due to turn so with the usual up tick in the wind I rigged the 5.6 Loft RB on the Isonic 86 with the Lessacher 24 weedie. Was under done all day made hare work out of it slugging at each end of the run never planing out of the jibe, Kept telling myself go in and change up, but nup dindnt sudda cudda. Hoppy turned up late & after he lapped me a couple of times ( maybe he rigged better than meEmbarassed) I decided to call it quits Had a great chat over a couple of cold frothys learning about the Van rebuild, Hoppy now owe's me a road trip in his shiney new steadWink

Mike it's a great board thought it would only be for big sails but handles 6m conditions well. Could be good at LG on the flat water, going down in three weeks time for the weekend so I'll find out
