Wow, i did not use my usual Severne Reflex, but instead a non cambered Hot Sails Maui GPX 8.0 on my iSonic 117 wide. Wind was only 14 to maybe 16 knots :-D Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles

Nice! Must have caught a good gust! Where did you get the PB? I might want to check out the location when I return to Bonaire.

Marc, I downloaded your tracks and looked at them using GPSResults. I don't know what is going on but the track has data segments missing, up to 5 seconds at a time even when the data shows 10 satellites connected before and after the break. Do you have the Alcatel set with the display 'always on'? I have read that if the display goes off or the phone goes to sleep that it can cause some weird behaviours. Also, I had issues when I tried to use wired earphones. I ultimately switched to waterproof bluetooth earphones and my issues went away...

Barton, how did you get on with your biopsy this week?

Hi Anita, the biopsy procedure went well. Very little pain or bleeding and about a 5mm opening that needed to be stitched closed. The 'polymorphous mass'  was tangled around the optic nerve so Dr. Steele took samples from different areas but he decided not to try to remove any of the mass. He is 85% sure it is lymphoma. I have a follow-up appointment this Wednesday, hopefully the biopsy results will be back so we know the treatment approach. If the mass has stayed contained to the orbit, then it will likely just be radiation. If they think any of the lymphoma has migrated to the brain, then there will likely be chemotherapy as well. It is now 'sit and wait' mode.

Thank you for inquiring.
