Darryl (25155km): Melville, Pat 115 AI, R8 7.0, Carp 34, Great sail on a very gusty river. Got a couple of lucky gusts for the peaks :) These hollow boards are certainly quick.

Jester (817km): Melville Beach, WA, AU 125 fride 6.5 turbo and 32 weedster started off on 6.2 overdrive but wasnt enough in the morning... plenty in the arvo. great catching up with the crew.
Borgy (16631km): Melville Beach, WA, AU 7m Severne OD R8, Xf98, 34CF and 27 DS Hard work but good fun. Good to see a heap of people and Doc Mike on his feet again.
Nauli (21836km): 7.0 Reflex 7; X-F 90 +V-Delta and FB 32; X-F 105 + FB 34...Melville First sail in almost a month so very rusty and very unfit...gusty, choppy so only did 1 run out the back. Stayed inside for short sessions but couldn't find any speed whatsoever. But great to get out again! And yes great to catch up with (a limping) Dr Michael and (a not limping) Johnny Wog!
col (16458km): Melville Beach, WA, AU Cant be right ! Will send tracks for checking. ISO 87,loft blade 6.3
Nelson d Foiler (31687km): RRD Firestorm 101L with 6.5M T-bird & 34 EX Vector then 36 Canefire. The 34 was twitchy so eventually changed to the 36 but had some huge spinouts with that fin, weed maybe No real speed today although I thought I was going quick Good team outing in gusty conditions & quite choppy at times. Fun day, beats work any day
Annie (13604km): 5.3M Koyote 94 lt cross fww the 84 lt cross with small fww It took me quite some time today to actually rig a sail It looked good & everyone coming in was smiling even though some were moaning about the up & down factor Eventually rigged & went out on the 94 which was way too much to handle for this scaredy cat Then put the 84 on & waited for it to mellow a little before I had another go - all in all it as a great day once overcoming the fear factor. Awesome sailing Darryl, it may have "a little bit" to do with the board. Col - great alpha PB, was it on your gear? Nice to catch up with Wog John (man you need to get some sleep ) & also Doc Michael whose recovery is progressing. Great day - great fun & wonderful team turn out. |
