Interesting sail today. Was feeling good having a great sail. Wind was fantastic.

left from Redland bay and headed out broke the fin and had a 3km run back in made it back to Thomsons beach and had to borrow a phone to ring someone to give me a lift back to my car.

Fin boy strikes again.

Amity, QLD, AU. 99 Falcon / 7 R8 / 36 Tribal. Forecast was pretty spot on once wind kicked in. Changed down to 34 after a rain squall as 36 was to big when wind picked up. Great sail with Eric and latter Shannon, Tony and Glynn.

Ballina, NSW, AU   90 ltr Isonic, 30cm, 5.8m rs slalom, tried Noth creek for some speed in flat water, didn't quite get that run I was looking for.

Finally!!

Massive thanks to Ian for the boat trip to Amity, QLD, AU today. A fantastic sail with Ian, Shannon, Tony and Glynn. Started off on the 114/37.5cm which was sweet but I felt I would be better off on the smaller board as the gusts seemed stronger. Looking back I should have went for the hour first as I didn't go any faster on the 90/34cm for quite a while, until a line of rain passed by which kicked the wind up nicely. I had one big catapult coming back up the run where my front foot came out. I felt very lucky not to get hurt or damage anything. Such amazing conditions today. The ride home was pretty full on but Ian and his boat handled it no probs.
