Primbee, NSW, AU W up to 25 knots or so

Short sail after lunch. Shallow water - touching the bottom in a few places. Smooth water, particularly behind some weedy areas down the Windang end. Started on the 107 and swapped to the 80 for the last half hour.

It's been a while since I've sailed here - good fun!

Short POETS sail @ Primbee, NSW, AU

Already a few out when I arrived. Terry had been out for much of the day.

Decided to go the Speed Board with the 7m, considering it was so shallow and I hate the feel of the delta on the Slalom board. Got a couple of fun bearaways but always felt limited by the fin. Often spun out at speeds above 35kt, not good. It did let me get longer bearaways though, into the shallows. The 7m felt very heavy above 35kts, 6.3 would've been faster but would've left me standing around in the lulls.

There are some weed banks starting to form on the edge of the shallows, got a few runs tucked in behind them, nice !!!

Primbee, NSW, AU. Had a nice sail after a kite today . Was good to catch up with a few of the speedsailors. There was some really nice smooth water in places.

Primbee, NSW, AU

Took a long time to fill in today but when it did was very gusty so difficult to settle in and tiring! Fairly shallow in most places so hit bottom a lot particularly on gybes.

Nice sailling all round fellas and greeting from Darwin. Looks like you have scored lots of wind in July and August is looking good already. I'm missing it greatly and have even seen some really nice wind in some of the wetlands around Kakadu but the ever present crocs really put a dampener on any sailing ambitions. Anyways I hope the wind keeps blowing consistently and I'll catch up with everyone in a couple of months. All the best Laughing
