Darryl (25155km): Port Coogee, * Race foil, M1 8.6 DG 91, Fun Sail around the bay. Just felt like going for a nice sightseeing cruise. Always wanted to do a down winder from Rockingham to Freo :)
Nauli (21677km): 8.6 OD R7; Patrik F-Race 130; C-Volt 44....Melville Cruisy arvo in very light breeze...but great to get out and have a few beers after....perfect finish to a productive weekend....
Annie (13527km): 6.5T4 & 94 cross I thought it was going to get windier later Loads of boat wash out the back from the ghost ships Thanks Borgy for reminding me of the packing up rules, yet again And if I move the decimal point in my distance I would get close to Darryl's distance - awesome effort Darryl!!!!
Nelson d Foiler (31390km): RRD Firestorm 120L with 7.5M GT & 40 MFC then 40 Canefire & then 37 CL weedy then a 44MFC. Got talked into rigging the shiny new 7.5M GT when it was clearly 8.6M weather Luckily Iain had some spare RDM cams as the sail came with SDMs & I neglected to think about it at the shop Rigged perfectly straight out of the bag Was a little under done but generally had a reasonable sail. Messed around with fins as the board was feeling draggy but it was probably just the lack of wind Some clown on a GA sail & JP Slalom dropped in on me looking for a race I presume, so imediately left him in my wake Next time someone sails within a metre & keeps forceing me downwind I might not be as nice
Borgy (16631km): Melville Beach, WA, AU Big gear 8.6m R8OD 122 XF and 44CCF. Cruised around. |
