Super Wednesday! Big blow overnight, early start just after dawn.
6.3 North RAM tore while rigging and continue to implode during sailing so switched to the North e-type 6.6 for the rest of the day which was a good combo.
Early on was on the Mistral Speed 95, later on the Fanatic Falcon 104.
Lots of big Ks today.

Waited from 12 to 2 for the Westerly to arrive from Moss Vale, then it met the NE
in the middle of the Lake and did not move for a hour, finally went to the SW and
came through pretty strong. Sailing with Gary and Matt then the late arvo shift arrived
MT, Glen and Jason but the wind was starting to ease by then.

Very late sail with Bushy, rigged the 6.4 /speed board combo hoping the westerly would kick back in but it slowly backed of.

My first westerly of the year and so hot! Great to get back on a windsurfer, with pretty flat water. First go of the Mach1 7m and love it. Very stable and nice power.
The green floating weed clumps are fin wreckers - it must be the attached shellfish/pippi?

After work session, I was expecting a light 10-15 kt Noreaster for foiling so didnt have any slalom gear with me. Thankfully the tide was up so I took the foil board out with a large weed fin and stuck to the outside sections. Interesting to see how the big beast handled the stronger conditions (quite hairy at times but stoked to get out there in my firstwesterly in yonks). Also very greatful to the person who handed the GPS unit into lost property at work, that saved me forking out another $300.
