Another day trip from Adelaide - 4000km now in 5 day trips!

On the road at 4am. Its a effortless drive now, in fact I think my car just knows the way. On the water pretty early and some good speeds straight away. A solid morning, but then the blue sky came out and the wind was nuts. Easy 30+ knots. I had some good runs on the 6.2 combo, but the water was getting blown out and the weed was coming up. I (we?) basically ran out of water when the wind was strongest. My 5.6 was running out of power if I went too broad, and the little 21 tribal was still skimming the top of the weed like a hand brake. I need to look at other fin options for this weed situation. 

It was great to sail with guys and girls from all over Australia. The standard was very high today. Great to share the day with Kato and his mammoth distance effort. Also great to meet more new peeps and share the stoke. 

Stansbury, SA, AU: 15-20kt SE winds. Cheetah 5.5, 109 Supersport, 26 MUF slalom. Me, Kym and ChrisT sailing. Chris's sailing is coming along nicely and Kym got to test out his new slalom weapon. Unfortunately, no 25+ knot wind as predicted so nothing else to report.
