Trojan (8394km): Mackay, QLD, AU Early morning sail with Phil while tide was there. Morning breeze gusty and all over the place to begin with. Started with 5.9 Koyote and Fanatic FSW 112 to begin with. Went from dredging to overpowered, then changed down to the little Naish Supercross. Ended us getting about 20 minutes of well powered up sailing in the last of the chop. Good fun.
dr cam (41674km): Green Island, QLD, AU ESE wind 18-25 knots -occ gusts higher .Super rough water on the Reef flats today . Used the RRD V9 90 /NP LT1 7m2 /Tribal SW 29 . Sailed with Captn Kel /Benny MC & Reuben Morgan Kel's Bro . Challenging conditions with a lack of smooth water again but overall great fun ,a great work out & good training .My hands gave out after 90klms so I missed the 250 pm squall that came through -I believe the Captn was still on board so should have a nice peak for the day today .
A Good Day ...!!

Benny McCarthy (15191km): Green Island, QLD, AU Super fun day sailing with the "Guns" - El Capitano Kel, Dr Cam & Rueben. Felt a little bit like an amateur overweight jockey in a body building contest...these guys are the biz, something to aspire to for sure! Spent nearly the entire session in the kids playground deciding not to test the water level on the drag strip with my new Sabre fin- the tide was just a bit iffy today. Quite rough out there meant I couldn't really get a crack at a decent NM. Pretty ordinary hour also due to conditioning...took many breaks feeling rather knackered. Saw a 26.9 2sec on the watch after a nice little run- not sure why but it dialled down so dramatically- thought I snagged another PB... Did one run on the drag strip later on in the day- such a nice patch to sail on! Has to amount to half the amount of energy used when sailing there. I soon realised how close I must have been from carnage when I pulled up and stood off the board in knee deep water! Should have thought more about that one now realising 2 fins had already been trashed today by the GI drag strip monster! Rookie mistake for not bringing a smaller fin right there... Highlight of the day was having one run in company with a bird alongside me- so majestic and pretty cool... I said to self, how's the serenity! All being said, a good practice session with great company! Used Futura 122 Severne Convert 6.7 Black Project Sabre 42.5 (30cm fin used for the one run on the dragstrip) "Long May our Big Jibs Draw!"
