Choco (14568km): Bit of new 2nd hand equipment setup and tuning, WNW direction very rough and gusty gear too small but managed to get a few rides and tweak the setup.

Sammy (43182km): Was meant to work but Carl twisted my arm to go to lake George. We arrived at jimbobs van at around seven ( thanks jimbob). Hoppy and tricky were already there. We also met hammer on the way to the caravan park and gave him a lift. We talked crap then cooked tea (well tricky cooked 😁 cheers mate. ) then talked more crap. Had a great night and then we had brecky in the morning yum.
Got to the lake wanting to do an hour early then do some speed later. Well it was a lot of fun. In the hour i did a 42.2 knot run ( could not help myself 😂😂). Was such fun.
I managed a 43.15 on my sl55 carbon art 91. Cheap board but feels great and it loves to gybe. It also did a good hour and the nautical miles.
I went in and put on the speed board to give it a go, it went well but my peak was Better on the sl 55 carbon art but a couple of the averages were better on the speed.
Was also good to see tim hemer 😁
Wind was 18 to 35 knots. Gusty but fun day.
Had a ball. Carl was flying also and great to see hoppy and tricky also loving it and cranking.
Hammer won the day. Was so good to catch up with him again been a while. The whole weekend was just a serious bundle of fun.

Captain bogan (50569km): What a great day at Lake George and great to do over 40 again . Hoppy, Tricky, Sam, Kimba and Hamma - great to catch up with the old team mates. Decided on the 87 Patrik and 5m gun sails GSR and newly acquired Vector 25 weed speed. Plan was for 1 hour and was happy with result but did get caught in weed twice and missed 2 gybes lol. The 87 and Vector 25 were rock solid and managed a 39.51 during hour which i was pleased with. Headed back to sure for speedy and i could see a big front on the horizon. It came in as i walking through the mud so had to sit it out. 1st run in the flat water and had a 40.89 and backed it up with a 40.87. Meanwhile the front disappeared and i was left sitting waiting for wind for 30 to 45 mins. Another front came through and i managed to get going and managed another couple of 40's but soon too knackered to keep going lol. Was hoping for a decent mile but the couple i tried were too short but does give another reason to head back... Thanks Sam for taking me and Jimbob for letting us stay in the van. Patrik 87 / 5m Guns sails GSR / Vector 25 weed speed. JP speed 45 / 5m Gun sails GSR / Vector 23 weed speed. Lake George - 20 to 35 w - nw - sw
