Eckers (12311km): Primbee, NSW, AU. Wild day on the lake. Wind was SW to WSW - gust towards 40 knots. Reasonably steady for a winter westerly. Water state was less friendly though. Moderate to being with, really deep by the end. Seemed to be abnormally sensitive to wind, moving in and out by a meter or so in the space of half an hour as wind surges pushed in and abated. Lots of guts required to bear off today! North Warp 6.3, Fanatic Falcon 80l + MUF Delta XT 20, then Isone Speed W49 + MUF Delta XT 16.

Jetlag (10674km): Wild and Wooly Wuns to Windang. Started out a bit light on for the 6.3 but then came in big time. Unfortunately the water also came in with the wind, so it got sketchier as the day progressed. I found it difficult to get the power down in some of the gusts due to the chop. Had at least 5 runs above 40 but nothing bigger. Had two cracks at a Nauti, but it was getting too choppy by then. Well done to all who got amongst it. MT, that's crazy fast for that water state. Can't imagine how fast you would've gone on a smooth track!!? iSonic W49, Gun GSR 6.3, UFO 20/50/10
MT (22142km): Primbee, NSW, AU Very challenging session today, very windy, rough as hell but a lot of fun. Tried the slalom board with the 6.4 when I first went out at about 1pm but very quickly realised the 5.8 and speed board was the combo to be on. 5.8, 6.4 evo7's, 56cm wide slalom board Chester, 46cm wide speed board Neil, 21 and 19cm weed fins. Great to see plenty out on the water pushing hard.
nudie (5779km): Primbee, NSW, AU Well thats not how I wanted the day to start. Or should any one start the day for that matter. The 2 white makers down South Windang approx 100meters past them, first run out comfortable instant stop and came in contact with Mr Log no damage to equipment. But the impact to the right shoulder well that's a different story FFS. Struggled to get back and actually just struggled for the rest of the day. Came in had lunch and went back out on the 5.6 Sweet combo going South but coming back North it just didn't want to working could not hold the sail with the right arm. Good to see on the walk back some interesting Kahunas. Massive hats of to everyone that challenged themselves today at Primbee.. 016 Speedster 100 absolute built to with stand anything Crab Pots and Logs FFS 018 Manata 88 now that was on the money NP EVO 9's 6.4 and 5.6 UFO Custom not telling
Big thanks to MT and TP for helping my sorry sore self...
Maybe in a few weeks I will return |
