Dit is toch echt wel mijn favoriete setje en hij liep weer super vandaag.

Toen ik aankwam waaide het behoorlijk en twijfelde ik of ik met de 7.0 of toch de 6.3 zou gaan varen. Gekozen voor de 7.0 en toen ik er klaar voor was kwam er een enorme bui en daarna 3 knopen wind. Na zo'n 35 minuten wachten ging het weer wat waaien dus kon er gevaren worden. Het was echter wel het menu voor vandaag. Lekker windje, regen, geen wind, draaiende wind van west naar noord.

At start of the day 08.00 AM no wind at all, finally at 09.00 hours there happens something and at one moment, 10 minutes later we had 30-40 knots.

So rigged up the Reflex R8 5.7 and went to the water and made some speeds.

The wind was very broad, about 310-320 degrees, so starting was more difficult and there was rolling chop on the speedstrip. Slingshotted one time, but give me not a comfortable feeling, to went in straight line at the beach and tried to keep safe.

Although, the wind shifted more and more to NNW and stopped after a few hours, had some good speeds and a lot of fun, that's most important.

Nice to surf again with Gerlof, Hendrik and DirkJan and the other speedies!

Unfortunately not enough wind at Herkingen so after 4 hours waiting I went to the Kabbelaarsbank for some light wind planing.
