HulkSmash (1909km):  5 categories Speed Creaek. Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. What a great day. West winds 20 knots gusting.. Outgoing low tide so sand bar exposed. Had the classic 7.8m Severne Reflex on the 121l Isonic wooden board and tried out a 40cm techtonics G10 fin. Ok combo, bit more gentle and finess required than my usual 43cm fin.. Also jumped out on the 7.0m severne R8 Overdrive, on the 95l Isonic.. pretty sure my top speeds were on the 7.8m though. Usual crew, Curtis, Darren. Also sailing in from the yacht club was Max, and Tim. James came out as well. Great times out for the start of the season. | ||||||||||||||||||
