Up at 4:30am, met Macey n Jayson at 5:30 on the promise of a strong S-Eer which didnt get beyond 12-15kts. Only had a few runs playing lucky-gust.

PB on this board and finally had a max over 30!!!

Early strart with Tristan & Mikey in Shorncliffe, got a few planing runs in flat water. Wind just failed to deliver.

Then late sail at Wellington point with John, Glynn, Callan, Des and a few Bump & Jumpers. Gusty shifting SE, confused chop. Still good to get out and have a blast.

Waited all day for the squalls to pass and then the wind died when we got out on the wave gear. Gave my kit to Barbie for a few planing runs. Looking better for tomorrow!

Set the arlarm for 4.30am for a dawn patrol sail to catch the low tide at Wello. Unfortuneatley although there was wind, the weather was miserable, so I wen back to sleep.

I caught up with Glynn later in the day and we made plans to sail the high tide over the bank up in the mangroves. While driving to Wello, Glynn rang and said not to come as the Bay was a milpond, but I could see the weather was clearing from the SW, so I banked on bringing the wind with me.

I arrived as the wind kicked in. We had a good sail with Jayson and Callan, with the bump and jump crew heading out as we came in.
