Great day at the island with Binny, wind was a bit to East but a nice 20 to 25Knts and sunny skies.

Used 2017 Isonic 80, Overdrive R8 6.2 and C3 Venom 30

Team Ginger out to GI for a nice day in the sun 

Severne Overdrive 6.0 on a iSonic 90L - good early but when the wind and tide came in got a bit choppy 

Port Douglas, QLD, AU Ed and I snuck out from the wives for a quick blast down the beach = More than 20 knots when we arrived - so I rigged 6m Gator with lots of downhaul and Atomiq with 38cm fin.  The first hour was survival mode =lots of time spent trimming the rig - then the wind just completely dropped off = just when I was warming to the task.  Most disappointing sail - just like yesterday.  Hopefully tomorrow will be an improvement.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Well that was an experience of sorts!!  Late afternoon sail- no doubt the roughest and windiest conditions I have ever sailed in at Holloways...  SSE strong winds with gusts up to 30 knots!  Bailed out before someone or something got broken... didn't even last an hour! 

Can't complain too much though- it has been a great long weekend of sailing with plenty of time on the water.

Re-gripped the NP X9 carbon boom that I snagged off Andrew this morning- it has come up a treat!  Thought I had enough spares to put together a recon'd boom head, but looks like I will need to source the boom cuff & maybe a lever to complete the refurb.

Port Douglas, QLD, AU One hr wave sailing session after work ..Big wind big waves especially out the back. Good fun but a bit hard on the body..Andrew sailed well and has the scares to prove it..Wind Gods shut up shop and went home and so did i..guess it was good practice..there is nothing you can't do on a Fox..
