A little ambitious with the iS90 and 30 fin as wind was really up and down. Fun sail in the lumpy stuff though and just snuck an hour in.

Up and down arvo at the Wallow Pit with B2 and Gaz, who almost scored a 30 on his last downwinder for the arvo. Ran parallel with the beach for ages using up the last scud of the arvo - awesome to see Kermit in full flight. More to follow, worms have got the better of me !!!

15-20 ESE up and down. Good to sail with Adrian again. River mouth starting to fill with sand and weed patches and sailable area seems to be shrinking. Good news is that the bank is building up and straightening up since the channel into the river was dredged. Pity they didn't align the channel about 20 degrees to the north.

2017 days ago Green Island, QLD, AU Bonus day on the island with big tides, lots of slop & the odd good gust coming through . Mostly in the 18-24 knot range ...
Sailed with Lach who's visiting for a few days in between jobs
Was often underdone but overall good fun -the gusts were worth holding onto ...!!
Sailed the Eastern Reef Flats in the morning then waited 2 hrs for the Northern run water level to fall -never really fell far enough so super rough ...
Used the Tabou Manta 98 Tribal Sw 29 Evo 9 6.4 for most of the early session /tried the Kestrel 20 for a couple of runs as the water ran out then used the CL 34 sl 2 on the Northern Run in the afternoon .
Need to use the cl Sl2 34 more often -fantastic fin ...
Fun +++

Late arvo sail in the mud pit with B1 & Gaz. Finally got out on the water around 1430 after AM work commitments & waiting in the line up for the poll booth...
Ended up being a nice little sesh on a low tide. Wind was very Southerly with a few squalls coming through. Gaz got out on the water a little bit after B1 & I- looked pretty damn comfy on his Kermit board with KA sail... a "man of the match" short session.
Muddy water had the hands slipping a bit on the boom... Still working on the gybes- felt about as awkward as the scene when Ben Stiller gets his balls stuck in the zipper in the movie "Something about Mary"! Other than that, pretty close numbers with King Bill today.
Good to read quite a few mobbers got out on the water today- best form of meditation I reckon!
Used "Big Woody" Futura 124, Severne OD 7.8, Venom 48
"Long May our Big Jibs Draw!"

Looking for some sunshine and a bit of wind so made a spur of the moment decision when we got up this morning to come to Burrum for the weekend. Wind was very light and patchy when we went out but came in a bit steadier after the tide changed and ended up a nice cruisy session. Merena and I had it all to ourselves.

2017 days ago Port Douglas, QLD, AU Never got down the beach till late big day at work, was keen for a blast with Andrew but he had already had a good session and was on his way out..New the wind was gunna be up and down, rigged 7m free ride in full crank down mode on 105 Fox with 40cm fin new tide was gunna be coming in hard so wanted good up wind performance..Had a good blast till dark wind from 18 to 25kts didn't take long for it to get rough especially out the back in the solid 25kts gust which came through one after another Fox run sweet all arvo and 7m sail was twisting of nice in the big gust so it was easy to stay locked in and keep blasting...All good fun.. Was happy with the way i sail in a gusty breeze and a chopped up sea No crashes 1gybe dropped..thought i was gunna go home happy after a 2hr session..Till the damage report came in..7m sail had a rip in one of the top panels..kind of expected that as i could hear it flogging it's self to death when the big gust came throughTo much down haul, but thats how i like to sail..The real sad news is the 'Indistructable Fox 'which I thought would never break no matter how hard it got thrashed .. Has a big stress crack in bottom of it just in front of mast base and had water pissing out of it.'.NOT HAPPY'...Didn't even get one seasion out of it and it's rooted..How hard is it to make a board that won't break 'realy'..Not sure what i am gunna do now..will think about it when i am not so pissed off...Ed..

Nice sail with 5 riders out today, big turnout for here.
looked windier than it was so a little underdone on the kult 5.8 and koncept 100, changed to CA 112L for better speeds. Troy had a good play with the freeride geaer but has no gps now.
