Mark Hayford (6908km): Short afternoon session.Just me and Dave W out, so it was ideal time to try out a few different things. Very gusty winds, but nice direction. Unfortunately, When I rigging up, I noticed two battens had snapped. The battens below and above the boom, the battens which create shape and stability. I decided to sail anyway, and I'm glad I did. Now I just need to get two new battens and be 100% ready for next time. Was fun.
