Lake George, SA, AU M112, AtomicProto25, KaR Proto7.1 ('18), M47/73L 23Kassy(no gain), first few runs and bot panel 8"split blowout so back in tape up, wind was stronger today so the 7.1 was the go to be powered off the wind but the weed drag was holding us back with the 25. late sesh and back out to smash out a PB 1hr from 25 to 27, been a long time since I PB's so made the trip worth it with another 100km's belted out. Oh yeah and I blew one gybe and fell off so room to improve. Was nice gybing up from 5mile at Dalpha Land, everyone knows Dalpha's with a 'D' are faster than Alpha's with an 'á'.... Update... The other half of todays story....
PB's are not free and at LG one needs to make some sacrifices, ...so I had noticed The Great Beyondo "LG 5mile WEED GOD" looking on from the 5 mile shoreline on the previous days tracks and thought I'd ask him today what it would take and the conversation went like this S' - Whats it going to take this time LG5MWG?... how about bottom panel split on sail after first few runs LG5MWG'- and'... S'- bugger myself out using 74L M47 for no gain before late sesh 1Hr LG5MWG'- and'... S'- ok I see... sounds like you want blood Weed God of 5 mile? LG5MWG'- Yes... S'- ok, I have thin skin on top of R'foot from last season, a sea ulcer/crater and it's about to let go LG5MWG'- nice, those things heal slowly, but I do like those offerings of big toe stubbed on Cocky's limestone.... and... S'- ok how about when I come in from my PB sesh'totally exhausted I find my favorite old 460 AMAC/Lockwood Triana mast compressed n bamboozeled/splt together at the ferrule after de-rigging.
