Quick early session before the tide dissappeared. Thought it was a bit stronger so should have rigged the 7.8 in hindsight but still got planing with the 6.5 with a little work.

CA SL70 Simmer 6.5, tribal 40

Kurrimine Beach, QLD, AU

I'd forgotten how nice it was to sail at Kurramine. Last time would have been when Hoppy Bob was with us, Herb & Lyn were killin it and Freddy Burke plowed into a sand bank at Full Tilt, thing Herb was standing in knee deep water. He was actually kneeling in ankle deep water Surprised..... Last minute decision to head out on the water after a full day in the area. Very overcast, lots of drizzly moisture, but a solid 15kts, maybe a touch more when the sun did make a brief appearance.

A very quick sail - only managed 45 mins but it has left me sane again, b4 I had to make the trip back through to Cairns. Shame I had to enjoy it on my own. Topped off the day.

Used: Motion, CA SL108, 7.0 OD M1, Tribal SL1 36

Port Douglas, QLD, AU Had a great blast after work on the new Fox 140.  Foxy said it could be run down to 7m - well, I rigged loft 02 7.4 and that was too much sail - so I bit the bullet and rigged trusty North S Type 6.6m - depowered - by removing the bottom cam - rigged down tight and flat.  The board was fantastic.  It is so friendly and suits my laid back style.  Gave it up when I got weary and started thinking I might do some damage to something.  Life is Good.

Wink Nope, reckon its just you Ross....everyone else on here definitely has the utmost respect for INsanity Wink .

There was some really nice numbers put out yesterday, in what can only be described as a very unwelcome start to our season. Seems the WA lads are gettting more action these days Cry
