Great to see so many of the St George SC speed team out on Weds!  A really FUN day with some good exercise.

Sailed at Primbee in WNW with a great range of WNW 0-40knots LaughingLaughingLaughing

It started well at 230pm with a fairly consistent 25knot wind before rising to an epic 40knot gust which saw my gear enjoy a cartwheel session downwind before the wind dropped on it's arse to O knots. So Tim and I did the 800m walk of shame back through the shallows to the car park. Tim's optimism prevailed and he managed to get a gust back in! 5pm off the water.

JetLag took out the magical gust of the day to get back to the beach and avoid the walk of shame!  So darn lucky!

Was on a Fanatic Falcon 99litre and 6.4 Neil Pryde EVO.

Cheers

Nice work Bazil!

GW60 decided to have a melt down before session. Hopefully sort it for tomorrow. Reading from Suunto watch was 37.8Knots and 58kms. Massive changes in direction and strength in the wind made it quite interesting. Good fun session. 5.5m W49 was a good choice for most of the time.
