Green Island, QLD, AU   Wind mostly 18-20 knots  with the odd higher gust. Gear Fanatic Falcon 121 RSR e 7 8.6 then RSR E 11 7m2  CL Sl 2 40  fin .

Spent most of the session overcooked on the 8.6 -agghhrrrr ...Backhanded /rearing uo on the fin -wasnt much fun  but it was a short day so I was relucant to head in & change down...Foot in mouth

Late in the session I borrowed my guest for the day's 7m2 E 11 & immediately gained  2 knots in peak speed so relieved to finish the session a fraction faster than her ..!!

Was nice to sail with so many of the team today -ED,Andrew ,Mark ,Rick & Bennie Mc & welcome Allison Shreeve to the Island for a cameo performance -nice sailing Allison -showed us all how the pros do it ..!!SmileCool

Green Island, QLD, AU Well it's not everyday day you get to sail with Windsurfing Royalty!

Super fun day out had on the water off GI with Allison Shreeve, Dr Cam, Ed, Mark, Andrew & Rick!!! Cool

Rigged big as it looked a little light on to begin with.  After an hour or so, the wind kicked in and the 8.6 plugged into the big board certainly started to feel like a hand full, but awesome fun at the same time!

Think everyone had an absolute blast out there today!- Had the usual few fun drags with Ed...  Mark was scooting around like a seasoned campaigner & looked super happy with his new sail...  Rick looked like he had gone to sailing heaven finishing up with a smile from ear to ear...  Andrew keeps on falling more in love with his Fox 140 taking full advantage of being able to sail nearly all sesh on the Southern reef flats...  and Dr Cam & Allison ended up in a ding dong battle for honours in the speed department on the Eastern speed run- amazing effort from Allison to crank that hard with borrowed gear after such a long lay off!!! SmileCool

So blessed to be able to sail in our own little piece of Tropical Paradise!

Used the Jag 125, Severne 8.6 M2, Choco 41

"Long May our Big Jibs Draw!"

Yeah teeam Port Douglas hit GI today looking for some action..Had my wing man Andrew the new kid on the block Mark who was sailing my old 117 iso and my mate Rick who wanted to settle a score with GI as he had a 'wipe out' on his first session over there..No one could figure out what the wind was gunna do today, so i did what i usually do in this situation 'if in dought' rig big.Took 120Fox over ,first time i have sailed a big board over there ,Wind looked a bit soft at first so rigged no cam 7.8 only did a couple of runs and big rig went in to' full lock down mode 'cranked down to the max..Big Fox ran sweet the whole session and never put a foot wrong. The rest of the Port boys did a great job Andrew was Flying on his big Fox and was very happy with his session well done mate.., Mark and Rick were hard to catch on there Isonic's both had 6.5m rigs dialed in well..I got no GPS at the moment so spent most of the session hitting the boy's up for some drags, Think Benny got the better of me in the end with his new board and a fully pumped race sail..Think he should get' man of the match' as well to go with his PB..Cam was bussie with his guest sailor Allison who has a track record that would put all us boys to shame and i enjoyed listening to some of her amazing stories  it was a pleasure to meet her, hope she enjoyed her GI session ..Even though i had my big gear dialed in well i was still shagged at the end of my session and happy to catch the 2:30 boat home..I guess it was worth rigging up for..all good fun..Cheers Ed...
