Fun afternoon with B2, Freddy and Tony in a fading SE'r . Great in the first part of the afternoon, cranked straight off the beach, then it progressively moved away from the coast. B2 had on last run and was but an insignificant blip on the horizon b4 he actually got planing. Time to call it an arfternoon.
Tried my 490 Apex mast on my 7.8 today - didnt mind it. Never really got it fully loaded up, so the the jury is out, but i think it felt softer, had a more forgiving feel as apossed to the 460. Might try it again. Ran a 36 today with the 7.8, woew, really didnt expect that result. Super stoked apart form the upwind ability. That really sucked, and made hard work of another Southerly change b4 dissapearing. Got caught out again in a shifting breeze and spent a good amount of time getting home.

Fun early arvo sesh off the mud pit with B1, Freddy & Tony 'the Truckie". Looked good on arrival, but soon realised there were lots of holes making it hard yakka at times. Reckon I was close to pumping the boom off the mast just to get up on the plane on the last run around 3pm... Knew then it was time to call it a day.
Think everyone still had a bit of fun in the sun! Great 2sec from B1 considering the conditions!! Looks like the lads over on GI had a blast!- certainly may have been the better option for today...
Happy Father's Day to all!!!

Gorgeous day on the island -what a way to spend Father's DAY..!!
Colours were amazing/lots of sea life .
Sailed alongside Captn Kel & Reuben .
Goal today was a 1/2 decent hour but couldnt plane out of any of the gybes-wind was dodgy at both sides of the course plus super chopped up .
Kel looked to be flying with his smaller sail /upright fin so I suspect he'll take honors today ...
Good fun
