Lake George, SA, AU  Better day for me today .

Less wind but rigged down at the spit & had lots of fun .Mast stayed intact today -unfortunately my base plate didnt so another big walk back to the car-only 35 minutes this time ...!!Cry

Used the Iso 80 again ,the tribal 18 cm delta & evo 7 6.4 .

Wind was solid baseline 20 knots with gusts getting up over 25 but you had to be in the right spot at the right time ...once again there was a 40 to be had out there today -you had to be a bit lucky ...

Caught up with JimBob ,Daffy ,Mr Love ,KJ ,Matt & the ever intruiging Spotty ...!!

Good fun-starting to enjoy the trip SmileCool

Yorkeys Knob, QLD, AU  Desperado mid arvo holiday sail... Light wind on arrival with a couple of mild squalls coming through...  Plan was to just catch a couple of those, try & give Dr Camakaze the best back up I could manage and come back in...

What was I thinking!!!  Moments after launching, first squall came through, wind went absolutely ballistic, gusts up to 30kn NE being my guess and in an instant the sea turned crazy rough & angry!  Thought it would only be momentary, but wrong again...  Clouds opened up a little, and the wind just stayed on anywhere between 20-30kn with direction all over the place.  Meanwhile I was just in survival mode...  Way overpowered with the big slalom gear!  Waves were now dumping onshore...  All I could do was open up the sail & slowly wing it back to the beach with extreme care!

Probably the most exhausting 12k's I've ever done on the water- absolutely rooted but pleased all was intact on exit!

Used the Jag 125, Severne 7.8 OD M2, BP 42.5 (not the right gear choice for today??!!!) Foot in mouth

double session today,

Morning at Trigg but the file didnt log or I couldnt upload it as gps playing silly buggers. Cam needed backup so headed to Point Walter in the easterly this arvo for a quick blast on the slalom gear 96 3xs 7.8 scr and 34 volt g10.

Trigg started looked better then when i packed up but the shark chopper was in full swing and the beach was closed. If you dont look you dont see.

some nice bullets coming through this arvo though to get lit up on.

Benny.....how crazy was that....was at Gaz's place and discussing the afternoon's wind strengh and direction and would never have

thought you would be hanging on for grim death!! Well done and very humbling to hear you went out to give the Doc back up.Cool

It was good to read you had no damage.... on second thoughts ....maybe some mental issues.Wink

Doc and Troppo ...great numbers as usual....have a great new year.
