Another top day out with some great blokes - Dave, Rob, Nick, Shane, Vando and a bloke from the Netherlands with a truck you could fit your whole sail into without derigging. Wind really picked up once the cloud cover was gone but couldnt get the gear to feel balanced and arms were done so couldnt take advantage.

THANKS to Nick for showing Rob and I some video footage of our gybes and giving us some pointers - very cool!

Turned out to be an extraordinary afternoon of exercising on the water. Though conditions were not that encouraging earlier to start with. Most Sailors had rigged big to begin the day, so I rigged a 5.8m2. The wind was strong, so I set up my small board firstly. Then the wind died down, so I put the small board away, and put out the large board. Then the wind perked up again, and I put away the large board and set up the small board again. Just couldn't get it right due to the clouds and rain, so headed for the water regardless. Well once the rain clouds cleared and the sky turned blue, it was on! The wind settled down to good consistency, and even increased such that we were all lit up very well. Guys carrying their 7.0m2 sails still hanging on too! Tried hard to catch Vando, but no luck despite he being a little off his best today..

Good Naughty there Ben and good kilometers too! How you managed to hold onto that 7.0 out in the big stuff is a credit to you and your inner strength!

And good to see you back on the tally board too Steve.
