Another fine day here, compared to nothing Thursday. At All. Arrived Wed nite with no really great expectations but....dang. Had a new toy to play with as well, lets the games begin, I have a few moere days...
Isonic 92L with KA 5.8m Koncept and Atomic Weed Weapon 27cm. Was nice and not overpowering at all. Tried to concentrate on the jibing. But speed thrills were available, so you know as wind was between 15 to 20knts, maybe a coupla 25gusts, had to go for it, spent most time earler on bottom part from 5mile, did a reccy to the soit and islands, but getting tired so back to the south end doing that in just acoupla tacks, that weed weapon is great, I think the kestrel is still too new for me. Def try for a BP on distance this week too, and a better hour and mile.
A coupla PBs today, a little disappointing, but at the same time, would the 5m or the 6.6 given any btter results? It's just the walk backwards and forwards to change things. MAybe the speed board would have made a difference, need to consult or investigate, as JimBob did rather well on a smaller sail, but he is better in any case.

1357 days ago LG, SA, Formula GPSSS record of sorts cemented further on the Kinetic Centurian/100, rigged KaRace 7.7, AtomicGroundZero proto20 but never really got super super powered off the wind and could of been on the 8.7, fin worked superb on the flatter stuff at speed. A another great day on the lake none the less, headed up top to 5mile first to try chase n film others enjoying the glass on either side of the chop in the middle I had to contend with a bit.
Found a nice spped strip between the snott banks that Daffy led us to later and took some footage there but unable to hook an ok gust as good as earlier ones at 5mile where I pulled the 38 peak. Day was moving on so did a couple of naughties down to Kevv's spinning out thru the Monster chop by the weather station, and then onto the spit.
Plenty of Foambergs left to smash at the spit where everyone had vacated and left them to grow to a fair size just waiting to get sprayed downwind with the bulk carriers whistle goin of tap..

Another fun day at the Lake. Not much speed for me to find but lots of fun sailing.
Followed Spotty on the Foambuster down some speed runs and marveled at the oddity of it all.
Started on the M47 but there just wasnt enough wind. Swapped to the IS80 and had a ball.
M47/IS80. KA Speed 5.7m, Techtonics 17cm/Atomic GZ 18cm, Motion Mini
