Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Was going to go over to GI & keep Dr Cam company, but found out the ferry was at full capacity when trying to book.  Bit of a bummer, but great to hear the Island was buzzing! Cool

Anyhow, it ended up being a fun little "Labour Day" solo sesh off the mud pit.  Steady wind 12~16kn SE with a few better lines in the swell than yesterday.  Water temp & clarity out into the blue was just sensational!  The birds were chirping,  the sun was shining, the sky was oh so blue & there were pretty girls on the beach.  Can't ask for too much more for a light wind sesh!

3 days of sailing in a row...  Great way to wrap up the long weekend! Smile

Used the Jag 125, Severne OD 7.8 M2, Venom 48

Port Douglas, QLD, AU.yeah got a quick light wind blast in with my mate Rick who was keen for a back up sail after green island on saturday..Wasn't sure what the wind was doing only took big gear down so rigged 7.8m no cam on 120 Fox..had a good fun blast when the breeze freshened up a bit.Had to do a fin change to big fin to make Fox come alive,That annoyed me a bit as it requires effort to walk back to the car park and get it..Frown..Rick was on fire and had a great session on his Isonic with 7m turbo..He was really hard to catch and handled isonic well in a choppy sea..Think he gets 'Man of the Match'..Was keen to get my 70kms in but wind dropped out just on sundown so it was game over..Guess it was worth rigging up for..cheers Ed..
