Nice little session with Phil, breeze hovering either side of 15knt. Very gusty being a lot of South, but came in nice at the end. Probably could have changed down board, got caught maxxed out with a boom height ramp forming suddenly in front and nowhere to go. Pretty sketchy landing to say the least. Barn Door Formula, 7.5 Ezzy, 46 Tribal.

Fun session off GI with B1, Capt'n Kel & Dr Cam! Ended up being a beautiful sunny day in good company with a nice breeze!!
Happy with the one PB- had a good chance to really up the NM on one particular run but had to pull out in fear of colliding with a kiter near the tip of the island...
More practice required on the gybes!
Was great to see B1 & the 2 guns blasting about today with smiles all round. Capt'n Kel gets "man of the match" with a ripper hour!
Put the gopro on later on in the sesh for a bit. Water was getting very shallow towards the end of my sesh and the wind turned more to the East so I decided to call it a day earlier than I would have liked.
Used the ol' Exo Turbo 106, Severne 6.2 OD R4 & Tribal SW31/then Delta 19 for last hour.
GI- still the gift that keeps on giving!

On the Green , what can I say.....25 most of the day, Southerly - had the whole flats to play on. Jeez, the water temp was a touch fresh on entry, crystal clear and the water was exiting the play zone. The first session was a touch rough, but as the water drained away it just flattened out nicely. It was the only the high gustiness later in the morning that chewed up the rolling wavelets a bit.
Followed Kel up onto the top paddock late in the morning to what him put an hour together. Sailed just inside the breaking wave line - sensational, until I started to feel/hear the didstint "Tick, Tick" of the reef underneath starting to lift high and remind me that all kinds of fury would be let loose if I didnt get out fast !!! Bailed on several NM attempts thinking I was going to increase my chances of never seeing my super in 8 years time and my HR attempt was an horrific exercise in futility as I couldnt land a gybe to save my self. All day, One bloody gybe @ 18.332....I decided there and then, It was meant to be .
Spent the rest of the arvo with Steptoe B2, outwide on the northern speen run, until it was a XCountry trek to get back to shore. Wind turned easterly and we both ran out of steam. By then, we new we needed to pack uP B2 who needed all of the remaining 2 hours just to put everything away .
