Great to get out for a session today, After missing the last 2 days of wind.  

Went out early with, Fez and coner pretty windy at times with a few nice gust.

Had a good turn out from our team, and a few of the local team out there.

Primbee, NSW, AU Only Conor, Tim and I out when it was quite fresh. Detlev joined us afterwards. Underpowered for the conditions so went back in and changed up to a 5.0m 49w Isonic. Felt better for a few more runs. Most of the St George Speed Team was there having a good session. Only 1 or 2 others were out today so well done team.

Great effort today lads. Unfortunately, my simple motion logger failed me again with no data logged on the device. The device was on, the data logged the 2.5hrs on the water, however the 5 disciplines all recorded zeros.

Really hopeful that our order is underway and I can sail with a decent bit of hardware that I can have confidence with.

Hi Conner the motion creates a second file of zeros if you switch it on and off again at the end of the session, I had the same once and thought I’d lost the data, have a look through the files log and there should be a second file from Saturday there with your session if it was on when you went out.

Hi Dezza, thanks for the tip. I have checked the device again to confirm i haven't overlooked anything. It is still the same, i have a log from when i started wich was correct time and the time on the water until iturned it off which is roughly correct. It's like it was on , but not connected to satelites and logging data. I did noticed the firmware version was outdated so i have now just updated the firmware to the latestest version. I also noticed the memory is at 0%. I have deleted all the old tracks that i no longer require, however this has made no change to the memory status of the device, it is still 0%. Not sure whats going there, and i could find any details on the motion website that details the mini motion specs. If you have any feedback on any of that hogwash i'd appreciate it.

Anyways, it has worked today, and with the new firmware update i hope i dont encounter any more gremlins.

That’s good the firmware update has it logging data again, haven’t seen the 0% memory issue before, maybe someone else using the minis has and can shed some light on it
