the "Rio Daze" wind forecast was rather oversold, with the wind tanking in a major way the later it got in the afternoon

…but caught the gust of the day on one run – having spent most of it working my way almost a mile upwind in a strong flood to be in position for clean uncrowded runs. that gust was good for three PBs, and a top ten session too! great to see what the river can deliver.

probably worth the long trip to Sherman Island in awful pre-pandemic-style traffic
