JP135/F4 foil SL small wings-long fuse/ Skyscape 5.8

ENE - 15-22kts - Nice gusty ENE. Happy to break 30kts but not real happy to have my shitty Motion Mini fail to record (all but three minutes of the session), as it does, every now and then.

KA72 maps also not loading. Garmin it is I know, but pretty confident in the accuracy of the data.

10-22kts E- NE Coal Point, NSW, AU

 7m Turbo- Windtech64 ( 112ltres) - 32cm WT weedy a few runs

 7m Turbo - WT57 ( 90ltre) - 28cm WT weedy one run

then 5.7m Gator- WT57 - 24cm Stealth weedy one run

I've been sedentary with a virus since the GPS event. I didn't know if I'd be up to sailing but figured I could do one run and take some photos.

I didn't do much or go very far but I had fun and think I survived ok ! I'm stoked. Back in the life of the living..Cool

My throats a bit sore plus the  cough has come back but hopefully it won't flare it up too much.

Now I just need to get back up to fitness etc..Undecided

I didn't think I'd be up to the big sail so I tried an unusual combo for me - the 7m on the big board..It wasn't bad. It was a patchy 10-19kts so I only got going a few times but the lake was flatter than normal so the big board was ok.

I came in for a rest and to take some photos . It looked like it had come in so I decided to try the 90ltre. I was pretty powered up at times with that in some 20kt patches so I didn't stay out long. More rest and photos and then I rerigged the 5.7m - 24cm fin in the WT57.

That was good although I only stayed out the front where it wasn't as strong and only did one run. I was feeling weak and a bit sick so called it a day. I didn't do my usual run above the point as I was worried I'd get into trouble being unfit / sick etc. The chop was a bit more N than usual which meant starboard tack wasn't as peaky as usual.

Lovely to sail a NE again!

Good to have more fins to sail with- Mark , Maree , Lajos, Gert ( wing then fin) , Nic ( foil then fin), Andrew & Hugh on foils, plus assorted wings.

I went past Nic foiling nicely about 30cms above the water.

I hate this expresion but it fits- ' back in my happy place..' Smile

I'll post some pics and videos when I get them done.

That’s a shame Jeff, you should update the firmware in your mini motion. Instructions here https://www.motion-gps.com/motion/documentation/firmware-update-wifi-mini.html

Thank you all guys and gals! Spewing is right Nic!. Have just updated the FW thanks James. Andy, I have too much respect for this esteemed data base to besmirch it with Garmin data. WinkAnd, yea, Berowne, they would probably "out" me (privately) and I would be forced to withdraw it. But, I can also show you 10000K of side by side, Garmin V GT31/Gw60/Motion data that is virtually identical.(if it is set up properly, if not, its totally unreliable) But hey, I still see the error data requirement as essential, no doubt. It is the fairest way to go.

There were too many for here plus you have to reduce the quality to post them here..
