| snelly (420km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Love a Southerly! I was having a great sail overpowered on my new KA Race 6.3 and started heading back in to change to a smaller board when I hit the bottom while trying to get going in the shallows with only my front foot in the strap and got totally rinsed and smashed my ribs into the front of the boom luckily I didn’t damage the new sail or board and thankfully I had my new impact vest on with extra rib padding so only bruised ribs without the protection I’d be in hospital without a doubt. This is only the 4th time I’ve smashed these ribs on this side this year and I’m stoked I didn’t break them again this time and it only hurts when I breath. | ||||||||||||||||||
