Trousers (14352km): Lake George, SA, AU Launched from Five Mile after Bogan-check in. FullB & the Captain after both had said they might not be able to sail on their 'gaping-wounds' blistered feet, But Pete bandaged them up and they were back in the saddle and fired. Pete also got me on his Tribal 20. which sat under my Falcon and Hellcat 5.2. Slightly different direction, and probably not as windy. Again, trouble powering up on downwinders - but I felt I put down some fast-exit gybes up top, and happy to see it translated into a PB. 0ty is a gift, not sure how that happened! :) Both days, I had outstanding help from my teammates. Thanks lads -you're the best! Met a great crew - Special shoutouts to Shannon, Dizzy, Ash, Doctor Tim, Jimbob, Evil-C and Nic, but I'm sure I forgot others! Planning my next trip back already - time to source a small race sail! :)

Sammy (43276km): Great fun last Day. Was debating heading home as have a party tomorrow but glad Daishy talked me into staying over a coffee and he also taped up my feet which made the sail almost pain free. Sweet Fun night camping with Trousers and Carl. Cheers for the snags last night Trousers as I went too hard on my meat the first night 🤏🤏 Was a seriously fun week with Carl, Pete and Trousers with lots of new memories and lots of fun blasting with Carl and Pete. Very happy to have witnessed Daishy's Huge Pbs all round. Super week for him. Well done Carl on a massive distance Pb also Mate and also Trousers with lots of Pbs. Well done mate A trip to remember. Great to be sailing with such great people. Also great to see some guys five mile that I haven't seen for a couple of years. Lake George sure is a beautiful and rugged place

Captain bogan (50690km): Lake George, SA, AU - 20 to 25 if that lol. Last day so packed up at the spit in the morning and headed to 5 mile. Met up with the bogans and interstate crew and a few laughs as nomal lol. Rigged the same kit as yesterday with a building forecast more than yesterday. Strapped up the blistered feet (cheers Daishy for the strap up lol) and decided to head out. Used the 21 weed speed in the ab46 speed board and found it hard to get going and the feet were killing. After a few goes got going and managed a couple of fun 40's on the dial heading deep towards cockies. Really wanted mile, alpha and hour today but with my feet i couldn't head up wind. After a while it was obvious the wind wasn't going to pick up so went back for Patrik 87 and Delta 16 sym. Note: don't use the 16 sym in 87 lol. With the 4.5 hour drive home i decided to call it. Such a good day for a catch up with the crew and had an absolute ball this last week - one of the best road trips as usual - 869 odd k's in the 8 days. Great to have Trousers down for some pbs - cheers for tea last night and beers and bringing fins and Peter - cheers for the company and well done on the 600 k's and other pbs - great sailing and Sam - thanks for the usual everything that happens every year lol. Proud of the team all having fun on the lake with a number of pb's - keep it up and lets get back there real soon... Ab46 / 5m gun sails gsr / Tribal weed speed 21 Patrik 87 / 5m guns sails gsr / Tribal Delta 16 sym for 1 run.
Peter Daish (26108km): Lake George, SA, AU 20 to 25 SSE, 52cm FMX SPEED 5.7, 21 weed speed tribal
the day didnt come as we rigged down and set it down the course and just heard the speed talk saying 39,39,40,40 while I drank a nice glass of red. congrates to those who went faster and found the gusts, had the patience and the skill to get higher than 40 in those conditions. after 1200 kms in 9 days Im rooted, exhausted and this old duck is going home for a big rest. Today I was a bit punch drunk with my numbers the day before so after setting a goal of 44 today and then the wind died, I was happy to film others and enjoy the day. Great to meet Bryon today and put a face to a great sailor, to all the other people I meet from interstate it was great to see sooo many excellent sailors on the water. It just lifts the bar to other level. stay tuned for some hopefully??? good footage with speed.
Great for trousers to come down, thanks for the photos and everyone who congrates me on the distance record. I so very grateful all the stars aligned and I pulled it off.
